Save to Notion Database

To capture content into a Notion database, you’ll be asked to authorize the Copy To Notion connection during your first clipping action. This step is only needed if it has not been done already, as the extension requires explicit permission from you to access and save clips to your database.

Once everything is set up, you can begin to take different clip formats:
  • Clip a Screenshot: instantly capture and send visuals from webpages to your Notion database.
  • Clip a Text Highlight: select and save key text snippets. They'll be stored in Notion with your highlights preserved.
  • Bookmark a URL : organize web discoveries by bookmarking URLs in your Notion database.
  • Take a Note : record immediate thoughts or notes, and find them later in your Notion database.
  • Clip images: directly save images without needing to screenshot them.
  • Save articles: Clip entire web articles while preserving the original format (headings, tables, links, bulleted lists, etc.), and remove clutter such as ads, buttons, and more.

And customize how the clip is saved and where each element is stored in your database:
  • CSS selectors: set css selectors to automatically capture HTML elements content.
